This is probably the most full-on "Beatles-esque" song Crowded House have done. The double-tracked vocals sound like Neil has been possessed by John Lennon's ghost, and the chord changes are pure Beatles--the use of the "minor four" chord (Am in this song) sticks out especially. The lyrical sensibilities are still Neil Finn though, so it sounds not so much like an imitation but a conscious homage.
Note that both the A and Am in the chorus are barred. The bridge section uses a full B chord, rather than Neil's favorite B11 in the verses. If you don't have a cutaway guitar, it may not be possible to play the D#7 chord used in the recording, it's so high up the neck. An alternate is given below.
